What would you do if you weren't afraid?
There is going to be a time in your life when someone will put their trust in you. They will give you a break when no one else would. It is your job to repay them by showing them their trust was not misplaced — that they bet on the right horse.
This is your time to truly shine. Do not waste this opportunity. Make the most of it and in time it will be your turn to place your trust in another.
Expectations are interesting. There are people in your life who expect you to fail. There are people who expect you to succeed. And then there are your expectations, which reach further than either side will ever know. Living up to your own expectations is hard, but do your best, and then do a little bit more.
Fulfilling one’s expectations is great, but surpassing them is truly excellent. Surprise your detractors with great success, reward your loyal supporters with the gift of being right, and take comfort with yourself knowing that you always knew you could do it.
If you don’t have problems in your life then you aren’t trying. Problems are a sign of progress. They are the pot holes in the road to success, a necessary evil. Welcome them with open arms, for on your journey, they will help to show your path as others have gone before.
Question: Have you ever worked really hard towards a goal only to ultimately quit? I know I have. And it’s a shame really, because most of us quit right before we are about to reach our success without even realizing it.
